Biography
Internationally bestselling author of the Brighton-based Roy Grace crime series, published in 30 languages. All his novels reflect his deep interest in medicine, science and the world of the police.
In addition to his career as a novelist, he has produced several films, including The Merchant of Venice, starring Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons and Joseph Fiennes. He also co-created the hit Channel 4 series Bedsitcom, which was nominated for a Rose d'Or, and he is currently adapting his crime novel, DEAD SIMPLE, for television.
Peter James won the Krimi-Blitz 2005 Crime Writer of the Year Award in Germany, and DEAD SIMPLE won the 2006 Prix Polar International and 2007 Le Prix Coeur Noir awards in France.
