Biography
A witty and acerbic commentator on relationships and affairs of the heart, Sally Ann Lasson has been a cartoonist since 1986. Her work has been published in The Independent, Mail on Sunday, Daily Telegraph, Sunday Express, and The Sunday Tribune in Dublin. Her daily cartoon strip, As If, has appeared in The Independent since 1999. A collection of her work, THAT OLD CHESTNUT, was published in 1989 in Britain, Germany and Holland. She has illustrated two books, THE WORKING WOMAN'S HANDBOOK (1986) and HOW TO TAME YOUR MAN (1987). She has also worked extensively as a journalist and written regular columns for The Daily Mail, The Evening Standard and Tatler magazine, as well as being a dating expert for ivillage.com. She lives in London.
