Biography

After a long career with the D C Thomson group of women's magazines, he turned to full-time writing.  His first novel, THE SPOILS OF WAR, was a bestseller on both sides of the Atlantic. 

 

Douglas was graced with the uncommon ability to write about the horrors of war while keeping in focus the individuals touched by tragedy.
