Biography
Candy Denman is a well-established TV series scriptwriter. In her other life, Candy is a Specialist Practitioner in coronary heart disease, an ex-casualty sister and a qualified, but no longer practising, midwife.
BODY BEAUTIFUL
Jocasta Hughes is young, attractive, feisty and a GP who also works for the local police as a Forensic Medical Practitioner. That is where some of the problems start: she gets pressurised from both sides, with the police angry when her evidence could result in a conviction of police brutality and with her colleagues at the General Practice concerned that she is not able to give her patients enough time.
When you add to the mix pressure from her mother that she should settle down and get married, an elegant Consultant Surgeon who is very attentive but rapidly becomes a suspect in the killings of several women, Jo Hughes' life is far from straightforward.
