The rules: eight teams and their fighting robots must locate and capture The Toymaker, a robot loving super-villain. 15 year-old inventor Toby Badernoch has noble plans for the £10,000,000 prize money, hoping to use it to find a cure for his terminally ill brother, Matt. He develops a cyber-prosthetic android named EVE to take with him to the island. But Eve is sabotaged and kills the show's presenter - the TV crew pull out leaving the teams marooned on the island to fend for themselves...
