She began her career in movies promoting Oshima's EMPIRE OF THE SENSES in the US after its success in Cannes, was co-director of the Association of Independent Producers from 1978-1980 and Director of International Creative Affairs for the Ladd Company/Warner Bros from 1981-1983.
