Biography

 

Claus Hant is an experienced scriptwriter and author of YOUNG HITLER, a novel about the life of student and soldier Adolf Hitler. With detailed appendices, this is the most accurate and compelling portrait of one of the most complex and notorious political leaders of the 20th Century.

 

Claus Hant has written several feature length screenplays which were produced for German Television and for the cinema.  He created the TV series DER BULLE VON TÖLZ which won the Golderner Loewe Award for Best TV series, was nominated as Best Series for the Adolf Grimme Preis and won the Romy Award for Best TV Series Concept.  The series is still running successfully and has become the second most successful series in the 90-minute format in German TV history. 

 

Recently Claus Hant has written the cinema film DER GROSSE KATER, starring Bruno Ganz.  It will be released in 2010.
