Scriptwriter and novelist, her first novel PIGGY MONK SQUARE gained exceptional reviews and was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers' Prize. She has adapted it as a feature film. LET'S PRETEND
Writer and Director: A short film which won the London Fuji scholarship and received the 1997 Jesuit Award for Best Irish Drama: It was screened in the Galway, Cork, Dublin, Manchester, and WFTV film festivals, and was broadcast in July 1998 by RTE

Short Stories:
A regular contributor to RTE Radio One's weekly FICTION 15 children's short story series and has also been commissioned to write for their Sunday Miscellany series.
Grace's short stories have also been published in the US: Raymond Carver magazine and other stories have been published in STINGING FLY, WOMAN'S WAY, SEAM, EDUCATION MATTERS, and IRELAND'S OWN.
