Biography

 

Writer, producer and director who has worked extensively in television, film and theatre.

 

Currently producing ON PAIN OF DEATH, based on a Georges Simenon novel, script by Steve Hawes, director David Drury. Starring Charles Dance and Gabriel Byrne (non-contractual); Exec. Producer FLYAWAY, a film about bullying in schools, written by Helen Blizard and Producer of BLIND MAN'S BLUFF (by Gilbert Adair); Director: Raul Ruiz.

 

He spent eleven years as a drama producer with the BBC before forming the production company, Independent Image, in partnership with the advertising Agency CDP. The company produced more than 600 hours of programming for British television as well as several series for American television before Tom left in to concentrate on his theatre and film work. Since then he has directed or produced several West End and touring productions and directed an American action movie.
