Biography
Full-time freelance scriptwriter since 1984, trading as Klaarwater Bioskoop/ Blackwater Fictions. Before becoming a scriptwriter he was a sociology lecturer at the University of Stellenbosch and a journalist at The Argus, including periods as a crime reporter and a Magistrate's Court reporter. He then became a political correspondent for The Evening Post/The Weekend Post and parliamentary correspondent for The Natal Witness.
