Biog:
John Paul Chapple has been working in the film and TV industry since the 1980s. He has worked at Quintet Films, Portman Productions and Global Television. From 1990 to 1992 he was UK production head for Windmill Lane Productions and in 1993 was made a director of JGTV. Production credits include HEAR MY SONG, HIGH HOPES, THE HUMAN BOMB, WARS OF THE ROSES and SCAVENGERS. Since becoming freelance in 1995, he has worked for numerous companies including the BBC, Initial TV, Yorkshire Television, Showtime, Pearson TV and Telemunchen. In the same period, John Paul has concentrated more on writing. As well as several original and rewrite commissions, he co-wrote the screenplays for three features: Hans Herbot's FALLING starring Alice Krige, Jill Clayburgh and Angela Bettis which was premiered at the Ghent Film Festival in 1992 , BIG KISS directed by and starring Billy Zane in 2003, and GUY X, directed by Saul Metzstein in 2004.
