UNDERGROUND
TV Pilot: Nickelodeon Television: Executive Producer: Larry Brezner. Originated and written by Dianne Dixon: A live-action half-hour sitcom for kids 7-14. Ben, a 14 year-old boy in the Midwest, is the son of a well-known parenting expert whose basic philosophy is, "no TV for kids." Ben's problem ? That he broadcasts a weekly TV show from the basement of his parent's house. Ben's show has become an underground smash with kids and now he has to juggle the problems of life as an ordinary kid with the pressures of being a secret celebrity. (Ben does the show in full KISS-like face make-up, so no one knows his identity.)

HALF NAKED
Pilot: HBO: Producers: Dianne Dixon and Peter Tilden. Originated and written by Dianne Dixon: A very adult sitcom. Basic story: A sweet young pre-school teacher takes a role on a daytime soap opera to make a little extra money. The role is only supposed to last a few weeks. Her incredibly slutty character becomes an instant hit. Suddenly the innocent school teacher is living a life in which half of it (the half lived before the television cameras) is spent being half-naked and the other half is spent trying to deal with the fallout from that situation.

Originated and wrote pilot: MGM Television: Executive Producer: Steve Tisch: A prime-time sitcom pilot. The basic story: A mild mannered family man's life is completely disrupted when his free-spirited father is released from prison and decides to move in and "bond" with his long-lost son.

BOBBY'S WORLD
Series: Fox Kids: Co-originator, Producer and story editor: 103 episodes and writer: 25 episodes: Executive Producer: Howie Mandel: Currently in international distribution through Fox Worldwide: A comedy series designed for 7-12 year-olds but which attracted a large following among adults...and college students (do they count as adults ?). The show followed the wild adventures of a four year-old named Bobby Generic. His very white, very middle-class family included a mom, a dad, a teen sister, a pre-teen brother and a freeloading uncle. The stories covered everything from a quite sensitive look at death to a take-off on the Kennedy assassination.

Biog:
Dianne Dixon, winner of the prestigious Humanitas Prize for Excellence in Writing and nominee for multiple Emmy Awards, works in the US and the UK producing and story editing for companies including Hallmark, Disney, ABC and Warner Brothers. Her writing talents helped propel the family series, "BOBBY'S WORLD," to a number one spot on Fox Television and kept it there for over eight years. In addition, Dianne co-produced "NURSES," a situation comedy for NBC and has written pilot scripts for Nickelodeon, HBO and MGM. Her UK credits include development of the comedy/drama "MILE HIGH" (currently airing on Sky TV) and the recently completed breakthrough pilot script for Yorkshire Television entitled "LAS CHICAS."
