Biography
Adam Staunton was born in the Republic of Ireland. At the age of 17 he moved to Bristol to study Architecture and Town Planning. For the next 13 years Adam continued his architectural education and qualified in 2007 having lived and studied in Bristol, Oxford, Bath and Paris. Adam was lucky enough to be part of an award winning amateur dramatics group while in the Republic of Ireland as well as part of several Amateur Dramatic workshops in Belfast. In 2005 he began writing with Noel Ruane while in Oxford and together they worked on and developed their first television sitcom. Adam is a keen traveller and has explored Europe extensively. He greatest passion is cycle touring and has cycled over 15000km in over 20 countries. Adam currently works as an Architect in an award winning architectural practice in Bristol.
Born and raised in London, Noel Ruane moved to Oxford to study Architecture where in 2004 he was awarded the accolade for design of the year. Through his love for film, Noel worked part time at the Odeon where he met his future co-writer Adam Staunton. Both there to study Architecture, they found the written word more enjoyable than the drafted image and embarked on a journey in writing comedy. Since moving to Bristol, Noel has worked in several Architectural practices and on numerous projects around the world including the prestigious October Palace in Kiev where he was involved in designing a new movie theatre. Noel is self educated in the craft of screenwriting and he and Adam's first television sitcom is the culmination of several years of adventure and discovery. Noel is currently working full-time developing his literary projects.
