Biography
With a fresh new screenwriting voice best described as 'witty grit', Heather calls on her fifteen year's of experience as a producer of documentaries to create intimate, powerful dramas relevant to contemporary concerns.
Previous work as a factual producer gives Heather a raft of real-life experience of subjects dramas are often drawn to: murder, mental illness, child abduction, suicide, domestic violence, addiction and bereavement. Despite working in these areas, she retains a belief in the common bonds of humanity and a quirky sense of humour and now brings this unique outlook to the screen with storytelling that reflects today's reality - but with a twist.
Heather has been a finalist for the Red Planet Prize, the British Feature Screenplay Award and has had work selected for the TAPS Continuing Drama scheme.
