Nathalie Abi-Ezzi’s A GIRL MADE OF DUST longlisted for the Waverton Good Read Award

February 20, 2009  Nathalie Abi-Ezzi's debut novel A GIRL MADE OF DUST has been longlisted for the Waverton Good Read Award, along with twenty other first books such as CHILD 44 by Tom Rob Smith and THE OUTCAST by Sadie Jones. The short list will be announced in April 2009. A team of 100 readers will review each book and finally select the winner in July 2009. The presentation dinner for the winning author is part of Chester's Literature Festival, which takes place in October 2009.

Previous winners of the awards include THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF A DOG IN THE NIGHT TIME by Mark Haddon and SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN by Paul Torday.

Published in the UK by Fourth Estate, with the paperback due out from Harper Perennial on 2 April, A GIRL MADE OF DUST has also been sold in several countries around the world, including to Random in Canada and Grove Atlantic in the US. Translation rights are sold in Germany, Holland, Italy, Lithuania and Spain.
