Ken Hom, the Chinese chef whose bestselling book EAST MEETS WEST signalled the beginning of our love for fusion food, and who has starred in several of his own BBC TV series, has been awarded an honorary OBE by H M The Queen.  The award is for 'services to culinary arts.  He has also been named as the nation's 5^th favourite chef in a survey recently published by The Daily Mail, ahead of many other well known chefs.  Gordon Ramsay was 10^th.  the Ken Hom wok has sold more than 6 million sets worldwide.
