Ann Granger, author of the Mitchell & Markby crime novels bumped into Morse writer Colin Dexter the other day and they shared a bus ride.  She was just coming out of Radio Oxford after recording a programme and was waiting for a bus in the Banbury Road.  Colin Dexter, who lives in North Oxford strolled by. He was very pleased to see her and took the same bus so that he could chat to Ann.  He was very pleased to hear there was a new book coming - his wife is a fan of Mitchell and Markby. Crime writers are everywhere in Oxford!
