Etienne van Heerden & Deon Meyer win at the M-Net Literary Awards 2009

Deon Meyer was awarded the first ever M-Net Film Award, bestowed on the novel best suited for film adaption for his thriller 13 UUR (English title: 13 HOURS).
13 HOURS was published in Afrikaans by Human & Rousseau in 2008, and has also been bought by Deon's longstanding UK publishers Hodder, by Grove Atlantic in the US, Random House Canada, Le Seuil in France, Aufbau in Germany, and Centerpolygraph in Russia.
