RISE OF THE HEROES, the first in the thrilling HERO.COM/VILLAIN.NET series of young adult books has been awarded the Weald Book Award 2010.

The award is designed to encourage enjoyment of reading amongst Year 6 and Year 7 students and involves close liaison between the Weald and some of its feeder schools.

RISE OF THE HEROES is the first of an 8 part series of young adult books written by Blake Friedmann client, Andy Briggs. The two interwoven series, HERO.COM and VILLAIN.NET follow the exploits of a group of youngsters who discover how to download super powers from the internet and begin to use them for good, or for evil. Published in the UK by Oxford University Press.
