Five agency clients have featured on the South African Sunday Times Awards shortlists, in a very strong year for South African publishing. On the Sunday Times Fiction Prize shortlist are Marlene van Niekerk's AGAAT and Imraan Coovadia's GREEN-EYED THIEVES, with a new honorary award going to Marlene van Niekerk's MEMORANDUM. Both of Marlene's novels are translated by Michiel Heyns, also an author and a client of the agency.

On the Sunday Times Alan Paton Non-Fiction Prize shortlist are Denis Hirson's WHITE SCARS and Ivan Vladislavic's PORTRAIT WITH KEYS.

The winners will be announced at a reception during the Cape Town Book Fair on June 16th.
