Ken Hom’s TV show wins a Peabody Award!

August 5, 2010  NOODLE ROAD, the Korean television documentary presented by Ken Hom, has picked up a prestigious Peabody Award. Made by KBS (Korean Broadcasting System) and broadcast in many markets throughout the world, NOODLE ROAD demonstrated and dramatised the way in which the noodle, with its 2500 year history, was adopted by both the East and West and adapted to suit different diets. The producer and writer, Wook Lee, was presented with the award.

Noodle Road has also won the Korean Broadcasting Award and the ABU (Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union) Award for the Best Television Documentary, both in 2009.

The Peabody Awards program was established in 1940 and aims to recognise distinguished achievement and meritorious public service by TV and radio stations, networks, producing organizations, individuals and the World Wide Web.
