Charles Lambert’s ‘The Scent of Cinnamon’ published in Arabic

Charles Lambert's O. Henry Prize winning short story 'The Scent of Cinnamon', from his collection of the same name, described by Maggie Gee as 'confidently and beautifully written', has been published in Arabic in Albawtaka Review.

 

Albawtaka Review is an independent non-profit online quarterly based in Egypt, specialising in translating contemporary English short fiction into Arabic.

 

Charles Lambert is also the author of two novels, LITTLE MONSTERS (Picador 2008) and ANY HUMAN FACE (Picador 2010), praised by Jake Kerridge in the Telegraph as a 'beautifully written crime story that brings to life the Rome that tourists don't see'.
