We're delighted to announce that three Blake Friedmann authors have been shortlisted for the M-Net Literary Awards in South Africa.

Imraan Coovadia has been shortlisted for the English Fiction Prize for GREEN EYED THIEVES (Umuzi, 2006), while Marlene van Niekerk's MEMORANDUM (Human and Rousseau, 2007) and Marita van der Vyver's STILTETYD / TIME OUT (Tafelberg, 2006) are both on the shortlist for the Afrikaans Fiction Prize.

The M-Net Literary Awards ceremony takes place at a joint function with the Via Afrika Literary Awards on 17 June 2007, during the Cape Town Book Fair.
