The Spellbinding Award is, a regional award voted for by children from across Cumbria. The winning title will be announced later in the Spring. The Carnegie shortlist will be announced on April 18th.

Book 2 in the DANGER ZONE series, titled ICE CLAW, is set to be published in the UK in July and we are getting very good feedback from his publishers around the world, who are loving it. Twelve markets have already sold, including UK, US, Canada, Germany, Italy, France, Holland, Denmark, Greece, Poland, Israel and Romania. US and Canadian publication of THE DEVIL'S BREATH will be in September 2008.

David is off to do some jungle research for Book 3 - now to be titled BLOOD SUN.
