Biography: Angela contributed to the BBC World Service’s Global Concerns program, before moving into documentaries and filmmaking at Tartan Television and Plantagenet Films, working with Stanley Kubrick’s former assistant Norrie Maclaren. For Maclaren, Angela created over 30 documentaries, including gardening, environmental and scientific pieces, in addition to scripting the feature film THE POCKET VENUS and sitcoms BARBARAVILLE, GOLF WARS and MAGNETIC NORTH.

She wrote for Exec Producer Bernie Williams on THE LAST MUTINEER as a sequel to his film BOUNTY, and with Lewis Gilbert’s son John Gilbert on TUBE.  She created THE TALES OF THE OLD DRURY about the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and THE COCK LANE GHOST as theatre pieces. 

She is the author of four novels, one of which was featured on the Discovery Channels "Unexplained" series. Her most recent novel, THE NINE LIVES OF ANTOINE MONTVOISIN was shortlisted in 2022 for the Mslexia Fiction Prize, judged by Hilary Mantel.
